Today it’s simply a recipe. I started my day off with this shake yesterday and it was so delicious, I went for a repeat. It involves lots of goodness. Happy Sunday all :)
Ingredients:
- 1 – 1 1/2 cup ice
- 3/4 banana (ripe or frozen – I used frozen)
- 1 large handful spinach
- 2 heaping tablespoons gluten-free oats
- 1 teaspoon unsweetened coconut
- 2 teaspoons cacao nibs (link here)
- 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 heaping tablespoon almond butter or peanut butter
- 1 serving Garden of Life Vanilla Protein powder (link here)
- about 2 cups of almond milk (use more or less depending on how things are mixing and how thick you like your shake)
Throw everything in your blender and blend away! This shake is perfectly creamy and healthy. Spinach for breakfast? Why not! Enjoy!
